Workshop Description
How does curiosity shape how we learn and grow? How can educators tap into a child's natural curiosity to foster lifelong learning? We'll look at a child's need to explore the world around him by examining ground-breaking research in curiosity and wonder. You'll hear practical ideas and recommendations on how to foster curiosity among children in your early childhood classroom. Learn how personalized learning, enriched environments, games, and books can help you develop curious young minds.

 

About Dr Kathy Perez

Kathy PerezDr. Kathy Perez, an international consultant, teacher, administrator and author has worked with students from pre-schoolers to college graduates. Dr. Kathy is currently a Professor of Education at Saint Mary’s College of California and Director of External Relations. She has extensive teaching experience as a general and special educator, literacy/ESL coach, and curriculum/staff development coordinator.
