About the Workshop

The ability to innovate faster and in new ways is critical to achieving high performance and surviving in a competitive world. The goal of this workshop is to develop creative, fluid, and responsive design thinkers with the creative confidence to apply the process to solve problems of practice within their organisation and build a company-wide culture that promotes, accelerates, and sustains innovation.

Full Fee: S$1,712 per participant (including GST).

Nett fees payable per participant after SSG Funding:

S$513.60 (including GST) for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents

S$193.60 (including GST) for Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above

Assessment & Certification

Course assessment will be based on classroom exercises, case studies and project presentation.

 

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of participation issued by the Singapore Management University.

About the Workshop

In this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants will have an opportunity to refine their understanding of the steps of design thinking process and mindsets and build design thinking facilitation skills. They will learn how to conduct effective ethnographic interviews, how to analyse data by crafting Empathy Maps, how to synthesise data by creating User Needs Statements, effective brainstorming techniques, and prototyping and testing methodologies. This deep expertise is critical to becoming an effective design thinking facilitator. Participants will also learn how to prepare materials, design spaces, and plan agendas.
