Overview Specially designed to enhance decision making for leaders and any person aspiring skillful decision-making to ensure sustainable wellbeing, this 2-day course aims to cultivate in participants an open, receptive and generative mind, free from the preconceptions and cognitive distortions that cloud judgement and behaviours. It is a training programme especially designed for the workplace and individuals confronting the challenges of an active life. As such it addresses specifically a non-clinical population. Trainer: Dr Juan Humberto Young Dr Juan Humberto Young has many years of professional and business experience in leading positions in banking and various industries. He grounds his work in lifelong academic education ranging from Finance and Risk Management to Positive Psychology and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy at distinguished universities, becoming an authentic "scholar practitioner". He has also extensive teaching experience in corporate development programmes and at universities, currently as Academic Director of the Executive Master in Positive Leadership and Strategy at IE University, Madrid. He designed the curriculum integrating human development and management based on positive approaches. He is also Academic Director of the newly launched teacher-training programme of Mindfulness-based Strategic Awareness (MBSAT-TT). Who Should Attend? Assessment In-House Training Fees and Funding
* includes 7% GST ** Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset respective course fees
Funding Incentives 1. SkillsFuture Series Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible for 70% course fee funding (excluding GST) for successful enrolment into approved courses under the Programme. This funding is applicable to both individual and company sponsored participants. Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above will enjoy 90% course fee funding (excluding GST). 2. SkillsFuture Credit** Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits (up to S$500) to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding. This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Applications via MySkillsFuture.sg must be made within 60 days before course commencement.
