Supporting & Enhancing Teacher Well-Being

Teacher well-being has a significant impact on schools, teachers and students. When schools prioritise teacher wellbeing and help to ensure teachers can flourish, this can promote better classroom climates and enable high quality teaching that leads to success for students. In the current climate, teachers have been working extra hard to adapt to the multiple changes around them, hence it is even more crucial to give them much needed support. In this workshop, you will learn practical and effective strategies to support the well-being of your teachers so that they can continue to do their best work.

Key Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Explore and define what teacher well-being looks like in their own context
  • Understand why teacher well-being is so important for both themselves and student well-being
  • Learn how to embed best practices in the school culture to support teacher well-being

Target Audience: Key Personnel and School Leaders
