Workshop Synopsis

Powerful teaching tools for activating and engaging students in rigorous learning experiences will be shared. Energize your classrooms with powerful, practical tips and tools to engage all learners! Combine these techniques to create a blast of positive energy, which propels learners quickly and easily toward achieving the desired instructional objectives. Examine effective techniques for vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills and see them modeled. Instant ideas for your instructional tool kit! The presenter will model the strategies with active discussions to follow. Participants will receive handouts with practical suggestions.

Dr Kathy Perez, a Professor of Education at Saint Mary’s College of California, has extensive teaching experience training a wide range of students and educators from preschool to graduate school. A dynamic presenter and “teacher cheerleader”, she has the experience to guide both novice and experienced teachers. Dr Kathy is an acclaimed educational consultant, author and motivational speaker, specializing in instructional strategies and creative approaches to curriculum as well as organizational and professional development. She integrates state of-the-art methods, research with passion and practical insights from her own classroom experiences.

Workshop Fee for Open Workshop

S$250.00 per participant. If 2 or more participants from the same school/organization attend the same workshop, the discounted fee will be S$200.00 per participant for that particular workshop. Fees are subject to GST and include all training materials, 2 tea breaks and a lunch

  • Registration is on a first-come-first serve basis. Register early to avoid disappointment.
  • No refunds will be made for cancellations or in the case of absentees.
  • The Academy accepts replacements for registered participants who are unable to attend for whatever reasons.
  • Principals Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course/seminar due to unforeseen circumstances or if the workshop registration fall below 30pax.
  • Principals Academy also has the right to reject any registration.
  • A full refund of the workshop fee will be made in the event of cancellation or postponement by the organiser.
