This course connects with the SkillsFuture for Educators prioritised areas of practice relating to assessment literacy through the lens of Visible Learning by purposefully developing educator skills in effectively diagnosing and addressing evaluative thinking and acting to inform next steps. This course is one of a series of courses. Attend one or attend all courses to explore ways of translating new and relevant research into practice.

Ms Vania Tiatto
Vania has extensive experience in successfully leading organisational improvement, designing and implementing professional learning for educators at scale, strategic planning and project management, facilitation of adult learning, leadership development and teacher and leader coaching. She is deeply committed to partnering with educators to continually improve teaching and learning to ensure success for all learners.
Mr Shane Crawford
Shane's wide-ranging expertise in schools and consultancy supports educators to translate research into practice locally, nationally and internationally. He collaborates in teaching and learning instructional design to support educator learning, online course development and implementation, curriculum design and school implementation and training. Shane is passionate about partnering with educators to support ongoing use of quality learner evidence and evaluation of implementation efforts to help make better decisions that move learning forward for all learners.

With a career in the field of education for over 25 years, Vania has worked across different sectors in education at local, state, national and international levels. Her roles have included school principal, instructional leader, teacher and leader coach, consultant, classroom teacher and instructional designer.
Shane has extensive educational experience in senior school leadership, classroom teaching and consultancy roles across the Asia-Pacific. He was the Impact Coach of the first Certified Visible Learning+ school in Australia and currently Shane is a Professional Learning Leader - Development for Corwin Australia.
