Pre-school Integrated Programme

Workshop Description

Children are by nature curious and active. Thus, to guide them to use their curiosity actively and positively in their daily encounters, educators need to inspire, motivate and stimulate them with enriching and inspiring processes in their learning experiences.

The two-day programme will include the following:

  • Inquiry-based learning and teaching incorporating science process skills.
  • Asking the right questions to get children to be critical thinker and self-directed learners.
  • Using the "inquiry-based" circle, process skills and questions to design appropriate child-centric holistic lessons to motivate children to learn how to learn.
  • Setting up an inspiring learning environment to nurture the young curious minds.

The Learning Outcomes of the programme – by the end of the programme, the educators will:

  • have a better understanding of inquiry-based learning & teaching, science process skills and asking questions;
  • be able to use the above to design enriching lessons that would inspire children to be motivated self-learners who are curious of the universe they live in.
